After a year spent recovering from a shoulder injury, Zack Mitchell is ready to return to game action. In case of injuries to any of their imports, HC Ambrì-Piotta will be ready to deploy Mitchell. Ambrì has now eight imports under contract for the rest of the season.
Mitchell had signed a contract with Vityaz Podolsk in the KHL after leaving the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers at the end of the 2021-22 season. However, he did not get to play a single game for them this season.
