It has been expected that Benjamin Chavaillaz will no longer be with HC Fribourg-Gottéron the coming season. Christian Dubé has now confirmed this to the Freiburger Nachrichten. Chavaillaz will have been a Dragon for seven years and at least 337 games.
In other Fribourg-related things, La Liberté writes that Kevin Nicolet will be assigned to the Swiss League once he is part of the club. Other young guys like Dominik Binias and Kevin Etter will be given a chance with the main squad. In general, the Swiss personnel will mostly be the same as the current team.
