Sportbladet reported earlier this week that HV71 and Arttu Ruotsalainen had a verbal agreement in place for the upcoming season. However, the Finn is apparently also being courted by HC Lugano, as they have submitted an offer to him.
The Bianconeri have, however, apparently not put all their eggs in one basket. They also seem interested in Sami Niku. The defenseman is currently playing for Jyp Jyväskylä (nine goals, 29 assists in 49 games). He has, however, also garnered the interest of several teams.
