Reto Kläy, team manager of EV Zug, says that Lars Johansson fits well into their philosophy: "Lars know the ice hockey business from several perspectives. He can draw on the experience of working with the best players in top leagues and is considered a proven promoter of young players."
Until last December, Johansson has been working for the SHL's Rögle BK as an assistant coach. Before that, he worked as a team consultant of SKA St. Petersburg. He already knows Switzerland: from 2016, he was an assistant coach for the ZSC Lions for one and a half seasons.
