As Christian Dubé, team manager and head coach of HC Fribourg-Gottéron, tells La Liberté, they transferred his A-license to HC Sierre, so that he was able to play for them in the playoffs.
As HC Sierre has been ousted from the Swiss League playoffs, Gaëtan Jobin is thus now also done with his season. Jobin played 24 games for EHC Winterthur (four goals, six assists), two regular-season, and five playoff games for HC Sierre (three goals, one assist) this season.
