Antti Suomela and Christian Djoos both have signed two-year contracts and will stay with Lausanne HC until the end of the 2024-25 season. Suomela joins the team from IK Oskarskamm and recorded 37 goals and 29 assists in 51 games for the SHL team this regular season.
Djoos, for his part, has been playing for EV Zug for the past two seasons. This regular season, he recorded nine goals and 27 assists in 52 games. While Djoos and Suomela will join the team, Emilijus Krakauskas, Richard Panik, Andrew Calof, Eetu Laurikainen, and Martin Gernat will leave. Tobias Stephan retires from professional hockey.
As for John Fust, Lausanne HC is convinced that he is the right person to continue to build the team. Gregory Finger, the sole shareholder of the LHC Group, will also not back out of the project.
