Alexandre Texier is happy with his season in Zurich: "Here I have found the joy of playing hockey again," he says. And also ZSC's team manager Sven Leuenberger is pleased with the performance of the 23-year-old: "Should he want to stay, we would always find a place for him."
For now, however, Texier has a valid contract with Columbus for the next season, and the Blue Jackets expect to have him back then, as GM Jarmo Kekäläinen told the US media two weeks ago. The Frenchman himself states that nothing has been decided yet.
For ZSC's head coach Marc Crawford, the collaboration with Columbus has been a win-win situation so far: "The Blue Jackets help us because they give us such a good player. And we help them because we improve some facets of his game," he explains to the same source.
