"Yes, I think I can say it now, we will move to Switzerland. [...] We have signed a two-year contract with SC Bern," Martin Frk states. Blick reported at the beginning of April that the Bears had their eyes on the Czech forward.
Later in the day, confirmation from the club has come. In SC Bern's press release, team manager Andrew Ebbett praises Frk not only for his skills, but also for his attitude: "We have watched Martin for the last two years. His scoring numbers are impressive. In addition, we were convinced by his consistency and his attitude: He wants to bring out the best in every game."
This season, Frk only played in the AHL for the Springfield Thunderbirds. In 67 regular-season games, he recorded 30 goals and 34 assists.
