After three seasons, Guillaume Maillard is returning to Genève-Servette HC. In 2020, the forward was sent to Lausanne HC as part of an exchange between the two teams. Now the 24-year-old is back at the place where he made his first steps in men's hockey, with a deal until 2025 in his pockets.
"We are very happy to have Guillaume back! Despite his departure, I have always followed his development", team manager Marc Gautschi states. "We are confident that, in our demanding environment, he will develop into an important piece of our puzzle."
Maillard has made 197 National League games so far, recording 16 goals and 18 assists.
"I am really happy to be back with the team that gave me my first chances in the professional world", the player himself notes. "I have a lot of friends at GSHC and I'm looking forward to seeing them all again."
