"Tim, Leon, and Christian have made enormous progress over the last few years and their performances in the past season have put them in line for a chance with the main squad," states EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy.

"Tim was already allowed to get a taste of the National League and was able to convince. Leon and Christian are promising talents and have already come a long way at their young age," Reto Kläy says. "By integrating them into the main team, we want to give them the chance to develop and gain valuable experience."

Tim Muggli, 19, was the captain of the U20 squad this past season. Thanks to his 76 points (46 goals) in 46 games, he already received the chance to suit up a few times with EV Zug. In December, the forward also represented Switzerland at the World Juniors.

Leon, Tim's younger brother, also mainly suited up for the U20 squad this season. The 16-year-old defender, who was the captain of the U17 team, participated in the U18 World Championship a few weeks ago.

For his part, Christian Kirsch will be the third goaltender of EV Zug alongside Leonardo Genoni and Luca Hollenstein. The 16-year-old, who mainly played for the U17 team, was also in the squad of the Swiss national team for the U18 World Championship.

Kirsch has already been approached by the University of Massachusetts (NCAA) for when his training program with EV Zug will be over in a few years. Moreover, last week, he was drafted by the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL Entry Draft.
