Apparently, Valtteri Filppula is not willing to hang up his skates yet and is motivated to keep playing with Genève-Servette HC. Iltalehti writes that the 39-year-old has found an agreement to extend his working relationship with GSHC into a third season.
This past season, Genève-Servette HC won the championship and Filppula contributed with 51 points in 46 regular season games and 13 points in 18 playoff games.
