A member of Genève-Servette HC since 2017, Tanner Richard has committed to the Grenats long-term. "My wife and I couldn't be more excited about staying here and continuing to call Geneva our home for the next five years" states Richard.
Marc Gautschi, team manager of GSHC, particularly praises Richard's leadership: "He's not only one of Switzerland's best centers, but he's also become a strong leader in the dressing room and an important figure in our club over the last few years."
This past season, Richard led Geneva in points in the playoffs helping them win the Swiss championship. He also returned to the national team, collecting five points in the World Championship.
