According to HC Ambrì-Piotta's press release, the board of directors had made a deciscion five years ago to introduce different ticket prizes for home and guest fans due to an incident that had occurred at the time. However, as they state, "the difference is now no longer justified."
Due to the increased ticket prizes, HC Davos' fans decided to boycott the away games in Ambrì until further notice. Other fan groups were planning on doing the same.
