According to La Liberté, Andrei Bykov was informed that he would not receive a new contract for the next season. For now, HC Fribourg-Gottéron was, however, not yet willing to confirm the report when contacted by the newspaper.

Bykov has only ever played for the Dragons throughout his career. This season, he has recorded three goals and one assist in 23 games for them.

Mauro Jörg will also have to look for a new employer, as he, too, will not receive an offer for a new deal. The 33-year-old forward has been with the Dragons since the 2020-21 season. This season, he appeared in 31 games for them, recording one goal and four assists.
