Todd Woodcroft, who will start his new job on January 1, has signed a contract valid until the end of the current season. Woodcroft spent the last three years coaching the University of Vermont in the NCAA, which fired him during this summer. Woodcroft's profile stood out among the 30 candidates who sent in their applications.

"Todd brings valuable experience from various roles in different environments - NHL, college, and national associations. He is the right man for this position and the ideal addition to our coaching staff," says EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy about the Canadian.

In the past, Woodcroft also worked in the NHL in various roles, including as an assistant coach for the Winnipeg Jets. Internationally, he worked for the Swedish federation and other national federations in various capacities.
