According to 24 heures, the two defensemen Ralph Stalder (photo) and Larri Leeger will leave Lausanne HC at the end of the season and join HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Both contracts are going to expire this spring.

Ralph Stalder, 29, joined Lausanne HC from SC Langenthal seven years ago, whereas the 28-year-old Larri Leeger is currently playing his eighth straight season for the club, after he left the ZSC Lions during summer 2008.

Since the beginning of the 2015-16 season, Stalder and Leeger were able to score two assists each in 16 games so far. (rlu)

UPDATE As Christian Dubé tells La Liberté, Larri Leger and Ralph Stalder will indeed join Fribourg in 2016. They have agreed to three-year contracts and will both stay until the end of the 2018-19 season. - 26 October 2015, 4:24 PM
