Chris McSorley already confirmed in April that Schweri will join Geneva. However, Schweri's signature was still missing at that time. Over one month later it is finally signed and sealed.

Schweri played the last two seasons in North America for Sherbrooke Phoenix in the QMJHL. In 96 games he scored a total of 110 points (30 goals, 80 assists).
