As Marc-Antoine Pouliot tells La Liberté (relayed by SwissHabs), one Swiss teams is indeed interested in taking him on. If everything goes according to plan, he could be in a new team by the end of the week.

"One Swiss team is interested," confirms Pouliot. "I hope it can be done this week." The Canadian's contract currently keeps HC Fribourg-Gottéron from moving forward, thus, Pouliot is not the only one, who wants the current situation solved rather sooner than later.

The forward had been suspended indefinitely by the Dragons last week and was told that he would never wear their jersey again. Since then, Pouliot has been looking for another - preferably Swiss - team. The 31-year-old forward has scored one goals and two assists in eight games for HCFG.
