EHC Biel's Matthias Rossi has obviously made his choice about where to continue his career. As HC Fribourg-Gottéron announces, they have signed him to a three-year contract as of the 2017-18 season.

Biel's team manager Martin Steinegger recently confirmed to Watson that Rossi is likely on his way out of Biel. Reportedly, he has been courted by several other NLA teams, including Lausanne HC.

The 25-year-old right winger is currently in his third consecutive season with the Seelanders and managed to put up two goals and two assists in a total of 19 games this season thus far.
