Pesonen will have to pay a fine of CHF 900.- for the incident, which occurred on January 8 in the game between the Biancoblù and EV Zug. Footage of the incident can be watched here.
As per league policy, the feigning of injuries, fouls or dangerous actions is deemed unfair and will not be tolerated in the game of hockey.
