Eero Elo joined the Tigers from KHL team Sibir Novosibirsk at the end of September. The 26-year-old has played 35 games ever since, scoring eleven goals and 17 assists.

As for Alexei Dostoinov, the 27-year-old forward came from the KHL as well. The Tigers signed the Swiss-Russian at the beginning of December. In 18 games for the Tigers, Dostoinov was able to put up three goals and four assists.

Nils Berger also convinced coach Heinz Ehlers. The forward, who played temporarily for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in the NLB during the season, received a contract extension after all. This season thus far, Berger scored three goals and seven assists in 26 games for the Tigers.

Furthermore, the SCL Tigers have extended the contract of goaltending coach Dusan Sidor for another year. He will thus stay until the end of the 2017-18 season. Sidor is responsible for the goalies of the Tigers' first team as well as those from the junior teams.
