The single judge will now have to evaluate the incident, which occurred in the 58th minute of last Saturday's game in Kloten. During the game, Sheppard was not assessed a penalty.
Sheppard, 28, is currently in his second season with EHC Kloten. The Canadian forward has appeared in 33 games for them this season, scoring 16 points (five goals, eleven assists).
