SC Langenthal's head coach Jason O'Leary will not become EHC Biel's assistant coach

In early March, EHC Biel extended head coach Mike McNamara's contract for an additional season. At the same time, the Seelanders announced they would address the assistant coach position at a later date. One day later, the Journal du Jura wrote that one of the main candidates for this position was Jason O'Leary, SC Langenthal's head coach. However, Leary now confirms that he will not work for the Seelanders next season.

In January, O'Leary told the Zofinger Tagblatt that he would like to stay with SC Langenthal. Even though team manager Noël Guyaz then told the same source that they would like to continue to work with the 38-year-old Canadian, SC Langenthal has not extended his contract yet.
