The Corriere del Ticino already wrote last week that Luca Cereda might be taking over for Dwyer, as the performance of the Biancoblù in the playout final has been less than satisfying. However, two days later, HC Ambrì-Piotta announced that they would keep working with Dwyer for the time being.
Cereda coached the HCB Ticino Rockets this past season and has a contract in place for another season with the NLB team. Cereda already worked as an assistant coach as well as a youth coach for the Biancoblù's organisation.
