Gustafsson left the Tigers in summer 2016 to join HC Fribourg-Gottéron. However, after 24 games with them, he left the Dragons and played for Färjestad BK for the rest of the season. In 24 games for the SHL team, he put up one goal.
As for Rüegsegger, the 18-year-old forward made his NLA debut this past season, appearing in four games for the Tigers. He, too, will now stay with the Tigers until the end of the 2018-19 season.
