Rahimi had joined Davos last summer and was a bit of an unusual choice in a league, in which clubs usually put offensive-minded players under contract if they are not in the possession of a Swiss licence. However, the 29-year-old defenseman was able to convince fans and critics alike, even though he only posted four assists in the 53 games he played for Davos.
As for Tuomo Ruutu, HC Davos is still negotiating with the 34-year-old former NHL player. It remains to be seen if he will stay with the NLA team. In 31 games this season, he scored five goals and eight assists. Robert Kousal and Perttu Lindgren, on the other hand, already have agreements in place for the upcoming season.
