In mid-March this year, Expressen's Johann Svensson reported that Little's agent was negotiating with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. However, the two parties could not find an agreement, and the player decided to pursue other options.
The 29-year-old, who has made use of an out-clause in his contract with Linköping HC, appeared in a total 58 games for LHC this past term and managed to put up 54 points (20 goals, 34 assists), which made him the league's second best scorer of the regular season.
