The Biancoblù officially confirm the signing of former SCL Tigers' forward Evgenï Chiriaev (photo). The 27-year-old and the club have agreed to a two-year contract through to the 2018-19 season.

Moreover, HC Ambrì-Piotta has extended the contracts of forwards Christian Stucki (two years) and Noele Trisconi (three years, plus option for one more season), and has made use of their option to extend the contract of Czechian forward Roman Hrabec (in possession of a CH-license) for an additional year.

As for Genève-Servette HC's Gauthier Descloux, the 20-year-old netminder will continue playing on loan in Ambrì also in the upcoming 2017-18 season. Furthermore, the club confirms the arrival of Swiss-Canadian goalie Connor Hughes, 19, who will be at the disposal of HCAP and the HCB Ticino Rockets as of next term.

Ambrì had signed Hughes to a three-year deal (plus option for another season) already in summer last year. The youngster, however, continued to play in North America for the Carlton Place Canadians (CCHL) this past term.

Last but not least, the club informs that their forwards Luca Valenza, 19, and Jason Fritsche, 20, are set to suit up for the HCB Ticino Rockets in the 2017-18 season.
