As the Swedish newspaper Corren reports, American forward Garrett Roe will leave Linköping HC despite a valid contract and will likely join a Swiss team.

In 2015, Roe left EHC Red Bull München and signed a contract with Genève-Servette HC. However, the Grenats then terminated his contract again and the American center joined Linköping. Now, however, the 29-year-old might, in fact, end up in Switzerland, as the Corren writes.

This past term, Roe played 52 SHL games for Linköping and managed to score 37 points (16 goals, 21 assists).
