The 30-year-old defenseman played the last three seasons in the KHL and has just won the Gagarin Cup with SKA St. Petersburg. In a total of 39 games for them this season, he scored 31 points, 19 of which he recorded in the playoffs.
The Swede is a product of the Malmö Redhawks and was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 2005. However, he never got to play an NHL game in his career.
