As Tanner Richard told the Aargauer Zeitung as well as Watson after last night's game, he is set to join Genève-Servette HC as of next season. His two-year contract includes an option for another season as well as an NHL out clause.

The 24-year-old Swiss-Canadian is currently playing with the National Team and gave his debut for the Swiss in Friday's game against Denmark. In 2011, Richard moved to North America and was drafted in the third round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning.

However, the product of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' organisation only suited up for three NHL games so far in which he was kept off the scoresheet. Richard mostly hit the ice for the Lightning's AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch. This season, he managed to put up 34 points (14 goals and 20 assists) in 47 games for them.
