According to Marc-André Berset (RTS), HC Fribourg-Gottéron has signed Czech forward Michal Řepík to a one-year contract. He would thus stay in Fribourg until the end of the 2017-18 season.

Should this report be confirmed by the club, Řepík (photo) would be the Dragon's fourth import player, as they already have deals with Jonas Holøs (NOR), Michal Birner (CZE), and Roman Červenka (CZE) in place for the upcoming season.

It is also not the first time the forward has been brought into connection with the Dragons. Back in May, Stefano Sala (Ticinonews) had reported that HCFG had made an offer to the Czech. A report which was denied by team manager Christian Dubé later on.

The 31-year-old forward already played in the NLA in the 2014-15 season, scoring two goals and three assists in seven games for EV Zug. Last season, the former draft pick of the Florida Panthers put up eight goals and ten assists in 26 games for HC Sparta Praha.
