At a press conference yesterday, HC Davos presented the plans for their new practice rink. It should be ready by September 2018.

As the Südostschweiz writes, the application for building permits for the project will be submitted to the municipality of Davos by the end of the month. The new rink, made of wood with transparent facades, is important for the club due to the renovation of the Vaillant Arena between 2018 and 2020.

As their arena is not going to be available for months during the renovation period, HC Davos and their youth teams will not have a place to practice if the new practice rink is not built. If there are no objections to their plans, the new rink should be ready by September 2018.
