According to the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, EHC Kloten has decided to start the season with only three import-players due to financial reasons - maybe even with only two if Martin Plüss returns. The 40-year-old, however, has yet to decide where and if he will continue his career.
If Plüss, however, decides against a return to Kloten, another familiar face might return to Kloten, the NZZ suggests: Tommi Santala. It is rumored that the 38-year-old Finn could turn out to be Kloten's missing piece on the center position and complete their import-trio along with the two Swedish defensemen Niclas Andersèn and Mattias Bäckman.
