As the club informs, Moser's new contract includes an NHL out-clause, but only in case of a one-way contract. The now 28-year-old joined the Bears back in 2014 after spending one year overseas in the Nashville Predators organisation, where he appeared in six NHL-games (one goal, one assist).

In SC Bern's championship run last season, Simon Moser did not miss a single game. The 28-year-old put up 34 points (eleven goals, 23 assists) over the course of the 50 regular season games and added another twelve points (four goals, eight assists) in 16 playoff games.
