The Journal du Jura reports (relayed by SwissHabs) that Dan Weisskopf and Gaëtan Augsburger (photo) have not yet found clubs for the upcoming season.

Augsburger did not receive a new contract from Lausanne HC at the end of this past season. According to the newspaper, the 29-year-old forward has had little contact with National League or Swiss League clubs so far. If Augsburger is not able to find a new employer, he will probably hang up his skates.

Weisskopf for his part, still sees a chance of getting a spot in Genève-Servette HC's line up. Whether the 27-year-old defender ends up with the Grenats as of the upcoming season remains to be seen. Chris McSorley will wait till the end of preparation to decide about his case. Weisskopf suited up for SCL Tigers during the last two seasons. The tigers, however, did not extend his contract after this past term.
