In spite of a valid contract until the end of the upcoming season, the 32-year-old does not seem to have a future in Lausanne. Currently practicing with LHC's Elite-A and without entering their lineup in any of the four pre-season games so far, his fate seems to be sealed.
In fact, as Conz tells the same source, he has been asked to look for a new employer. It thus remains to be seen if he, like last year, will find his way back to the first team or if he really will have to join a different team this time around.
The brother of Ambrì's goalie Benjamin Conz has been part of Lausanne HC for the past six seasons. From 2011 to 2014 he led the team as captain and helped the team get promoted to the National League A in 2013.
