Rochow suited up for HC Thurgau last term, where he managed to post a save percentage of .903 in a total of 19 appearances. The 22-year-old goalie is still without a new contract for the 2017-18 season.
HCAP also announced that they will have to go without Canadian defender Nick Plastino for the pre-season games against Vitkovice and EHC Visp this week, as his wife is about to give birth to the couple's first child and Plastino has decided to stay with her.
