EHC Biel signs Schmutz and Pedretti to early contract extensions

Julian Schmutz (photo) and Marco Pedretti remain Seelanders for an additional year. Both players have agreed to early contract extensions with EHC Biel through to the 2018-19 season.

Julian Schmutz, 23, and the 25-year-old Marco Pedretti joined EHC Biel in summer last year from EHC Visp and Genève-Servette HC, respectively. While Schmutz managed to put up 15 goals and 15 assists in 52 games, Pedretti was able to record 31 points (13 goals, 18 assists) in 49 games for EHCB this past term.
