According to the Berner Zeitung, SC Langenthal can not only look back on a successful season on the sportive side of things but also on the financial side.

SC Langenthal will be able to present a small profit of CHF 477 to their shareholders at their general assembly on October 26. The Swiss League team increased their revenue from ticket sales by 80 percent (total of 800,000 CHF) and their net income from their restaurants by 85 percent (total of 209,000 CHF). In total, they generated a turnover of 4,5 million CHF - 600,000 CHF more than last year.

However, ticket sales and gastronomy were not the only things responsible for their positive financial result. The main shareholders of the club also contributed about 200,000 CHF to support the club. Their contributions, however, are tied to the condition that the question regarding Langenthal's arena will soon be solved.

Originally, the municipal council was supposed to determine where SC Langenthal will play in the future by the end of 2016. However, as of today, they were only able to narrow it down to two possible locations (Reithalle and Hard). The possibility of a complete renovation of the Schorenhalle has also not yet been discarded. A final decision is expected at the end of the year.
