HC Ambrì-Piotta and Evgenï Chiriaev have dissolved their contract with immediate effect. The forward has now agreed to terms with EHC Olten.

The 28-year-old forward's new deal is valid until the end of the 2018-19 season and includes an option for an additional season. Chiriaev signed with HC Ambrì-Piotta in April of 2017, joining them from the SCL Tigers.

Olten had already cast an eye on the centerman at the end of last season but he eventually decided to sign with HCAP. Chiriaev played three games for the Biancoblù but only got to play 1:52 minutes per game.
