The 27-year-old defenseman will stay with the Swiss League team until the end of the 2017-18 season. Since he did not receive a contract extension from the SCL Tigers this offseason, he joined GSHC on a short-term contract which was not extended at the end of September.
In two games for the Grenats, he scored one goal. Throughout his career, Weisskopf has recorded twelve goals and 32 assists in 181 NLA games and 29 points in 181 NLB games.
