Lakers goalie Nyffeler: "Depending on the offer, I will have to look at the situation"

Although he is planning on honouring his contract with the Lakers, which is valid until the end of the 2018-19 season, Melvin Nyffeler will probably be confronted with offers from other teams, who have not turned a blind eye to the performance of the 22-year-old. In 24 games this season, he posted an overall save percentage of .942 and kept his net clean in five games.

"I feel very well here in Rapperswil," the young goalie says, only to add: "But it's business." If he will listen to offers from other teams, however, depends on the future of the Lakers: "Depending on the offer, I would have to look at the situation," he says. "But since Rapperswil will play in the National League next season, I don't see a reason to leave."
