The 20-year-old center has appeared in 22 games for EHCW this season thus far, scoring two assists. Schärer missed the past couple of games due to an undisclosed injury which he sustained during team practice.
On another note, still according to the same source, EHC Winterthur can count on the services of EHC Kloten's defender Yannick brunner, forward Jan Zwissler and netminder Andrin Seifert again.
