Kummer's contract includes an out clause for the National League after the 2018-19 season. The 23-year-old forward, who is a product of SCL's organization, returned to Langenthal in the 2016-17 season. This season, he has recorded eight goals and two assists in 27 games.

According to the same source, there are also rumors that Philippe Rytz has decided to reject EHC Olten's offer and stay with SC Langenthal instead. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
