The 26-year-old left-handed center, who has been playing with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in North America's ECHL (East Coast Hockey League) most recently, is expected to make his debut for HCC in the game against HC Ajoie on December 28.
In 27 games for Greenville this season, McPherson managed to record 13 goals and 21 assists. Overall, he scored 134 points (49 goals, 85 assists) in 128 games in the ECHL.
