Forward Simon Sterchi, currently playing for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, signed a two-year contract with SC Langenthal for the seasons 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.

The former SC Bern-junior joined La Chaux-de-Fonds in 2016. Prior to that, he played for the SCL Tigers, where started his professional carrier in 2012. So far, Sterchi has suited up for 229 games in the two top leagues, scoring 35 goals and 47 assists. This season, the 23-year-old has recorded eleven goals and eleven assists in 30 games.

His contract has an out-clause for the National League in the second season.
