The 35-year-old American does not feel able to fulfill the full length of his contract, which would have lasted until the end of the season because of personal reasons. He joined Olten last summer and played 29 Swiss League-games for them, lighting the lamp nine times and adding twelve assists.
In other news, newly signed import Brian Ihnacak is now eligible to play as he has received his license. He will make his debut for Olten in Saturday's game against HC Ajoie.
