Lüthi has agreed to a two-year deal with Langenthal. The contract includes an out clause for the second season. The 24-year-old defenseman has played via B-license for HC Ajoie this season, recording one goal and three assists. Lüthi joined Biel in 2016 from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
Furthermore, Langenthal has signed youngster Luca Christen to a three-year contract, valid until the end of the 2020-21 season. The 19-year-old defender is currently in his first full season with the Swiss League team (one goal in 28 games).
Yves Müller, who has played for Langenthal via B-license this season, will stay in Langenthal beyond this season. He has been signed to a two-year contract. The 28-year-old will thus leave the SCL Tigers after four seasons.
