EHC Visp has extended the contracts of assistant coach Vesa Viitakoski, defenseman Luca Camperchioli and forward Dario Burgener. Furthermore, they have agreed to terms with the EVZ Academy's Marc Steiner (photo).

Viitakoski has been EHC Visp's assistant coach since last summer and will now stay another season with the Swiss League team. As for Camperchioli, the defender is currently in his second season with Visp. The 27-year-old, whose new contract will run through 2020, has recorded four goals and seven assists in 31 games for them this season.

21-year-old Burgener is a product of EHC Visp. He has agreed to a one-year contract extension, valid until the end of the 2018-19 season. He recorded one goal and three assists in 20 games this season. With Marc Steiner, EHC Visp signs the current captain of the EVZ Academy. He has signed a two-year contract. In 24 games this season, he has recorded three goals and nine assists.

On another note, EHC Visp also announces that they have received the building permit for their new home, the "Lonza Arena". It is expected that they will be able to start construction work in March 2018.
